The perp structure is so far superior to futures props that it can't really be considered to be the same product
There is a chasm separating the two
We need to be real. The only reason @TradingLucid got as big as it did was because topstep fucked up their plans last year. Oh and aside faster payouts. But now perps are here. All that shit can go extinct

Perpetual prop firms aren't cheap because they're generous. They're cheap because they skip the bills every futures firm has to pay.
These firms operate on their own perpetual futures exchanges, mostly on-chain.
That means they avoid many of the costs traditional futures prop firms face: CME market-data fees per trader, NinjaTrader/Tradovate or Rithmic platform licenses, and clearing firm fees.
That cost gap is real. It's one reason their evaluations can cost a fraction of what futures evaluations do, and why some can process payouts in minutes.
The cost of entry is much lower, too. If you play it right, you can reinvest only your profits.
After your first successful run, you could already be positive on your investment and never have to put another penny out of your own pocket.
But don't treat any of these firms as a long-term investment.
Get your money out and move on.
I want to make sure I don't end up losing money if one of them eventually collapses.
The goal is to recover my initial investment and stay profitable before that happens.
Withdraw as fast as possible. That's the whole game.
3 payouts in a single day from a perpetual prop firm, and already a 100% return on investment in just 4 days.
Perpetual prop firms changed how I think about evaluations.
On futures firms an evaluation costs $100-150 and you get one shot at it. On the perpetual firms I trade, the cheapest evaluation is $15. That changes the whole game.
At $15 a ticket you stop thinking in "one account, one strategy, pray". You think in farms. Dozens of evaluations, one rule set, the same trade routed across accounts one after another.
The math is simple. An evaluation is an option. You pay a small fixed amount. If it fails, you lose the ticket. If it passes, you get loss room on a funded account you never paid for. When the ticket is cheap enough, the rules can pay even a strategy with no edge. I tested exactly that with a coin flip before risking anything.
Two weeks in: 9 funded accounts across futures and perpetuals, 26 evaluations running, and the first 3 perpetual payouts already claimed.
The hard part isn't the trading.
It's the operation: which account takes the next signal, when to refill an empty slot, how much of each payout goes back in.
Cashedfun seems to be too good to be true . honestly what the fuck have I been doing with futures firms all this time @cashedfun

Not sure I’ve ever seen volume this low on $SPY. 22 million. Friday half day after thanksgiving last year had more than double that. They’re using algos to grind price higher before they push it off a cliff, draining every last bit of exit liquidity out of clueless retail
