American Muslim voters are expressing a strong intention to participate in this election. CAIR and @CAIRAction’s 2026 survey finds that 90% of American Muslim respondents intend to vote in November. Their top concerns include Gaza (89% say candidates’ positions matter), rising anti-Muslim sentiment (80%), and the cost of living (63%). These findings describe a diverse electorate whose views cannot be reduced to a single issue or party label. Documenting those priorities helps the public, candidates, and elected officials understand how government decisions affect American Muslim families and communities. 📄 Read the full report: cair.com/press_releases/cair… 🗳️ Check your registration and prepare to vote at Muslims.Vote

“Say (O Prophet Muhammad), 'O humanity! The truth has surely come to you from your Lord. So whoever chooses to be guided, it is only for their own good. And whoever chooses to stray, it is only to their own loss. And I am not a keeper over you.'” The Noble Quran, 10:108

"We are investing in the practical work of democracy: helping the more than 3 million registered American Muslim voters check their registration, find their polling place and understand their voting rights. We are bringing reliable, nonpartisan information to voters on their phones, social media feeds and television screens. That work continues after Election Day. Our exit poll is set to document voters’ reported participation and preferences, and a separate study will estimate the effect of our text outreach on turnout.” Read more: tinyurl.com/mr9kanc6

The United States was founded on the principle of religious freedom for all Americans, regardless of their faith or background. Article VI of the Constitution is unequivocal: there is no religious test for public office. Imposing sectarian litmus tests to disqualify candidates based on their faith is a direct assault on the pluralistic values and constitutional guardrails that define our democratic republic. Senator Moreno's remarks were not only bigoted against American Muslims, but also Jews, Sikhs, Buddhists, and everyone else who does not share his understanding of Christianity. Every Senator should renounce his anti-Muslim, anti-Semitic and un-American remarks.
Moreno says El-Sayed can’t be a senator because he doesn’t understand that Jesus came here for our salvation.

The outward racism and xenophobia of the Trump Administration is a stain on our nation. This degradation of Arab people is part of Republicans continued efforts to divide our country and spread fear across our communities. We must denounce these attacks for what they are: racist and disgusting. This rhetoric has no place in our country.

Once again, the United Nations has concluded what has been obvious to all those who have observed Israel’s actions in Gaza and the West Bank. Slaughtering tens of thousands of people, starving an entire civilian population, detaining them in facilities in which they are tortured, expelling tens of thousands more from their homes – these are crimes against humanity and genocide. The murderous Israeli government must be held accountable for its atrocities.
🚨 UN commission finds Israel continuing genocide in Gaza despite ceasefire, committing crimes against humanity of extermination in the West Bank Israel continues to commit genocidal acts in Gaza with the intent to destroy Palestinians "in whole or in part," even after the "so-called" October 2025 ceasefire, according to the fifth report of the UN Independent International Commission of Inquiry to the General Assembly. Main findings:
▪️ At least 1,431 Palestinians killed in Gaza since the ceasefire, as Israel's expanding territorial control endangers those approaching the Yellow Line
▪️ Israeli military operations and settler violence in the West Bank form a widespread, systematic attack on civilians, carried out as state policy and amounting to extermination, torture and rape
▪️ Lethal force rules apply only to Palestinians, amounting to persecution based on nationality, race and ethnicity
▪️ Operations since January 2025 caused the largest West Bank displacement since 1967, with 34,176 still displaced as of August
▪️ Palestinian children deliberately killed and injured, constituting age-based persecution
▪️ Rape and sexual violence used as a tactic of war, including against Global Sumud Flotilla participants
▪️ An Israeli soldier deliberately killed Turkish-American activist Ayşenur Eygi Over 75,000 Palestinians have been killed across the occupied territory since October 2023, including at least 21,500 children. The commission links the killings to a decades-long policy of seizing "maximum land" with "minimum population."

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s racist remarks reflect the anti-Arab hate that has become a hallmark of the Trump administration. His attempt to erase Arab contributions to society is part and parcel of this government’s effort to scapegoat Arabs for America’s problems. The reality is that several Arabs have won the Nobel Peace Prize in years past. Such hatred is political desperation from an administration that has no tangible success to show the American people. Instead of delivering results and upholding the Constitution’s promise of equal protection, Kennedy resorts to contributing to rising anti-Arab and anti-Muslim hate unfolding in the U.S.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s vile anti-Arab rant is a textbook display of unvarnished racism and bigotry. To stand on a public stage as a sitting U.S. cabinet official and dehumanize half a billion people – and millions of Muslim and Christian Arab Americans – with fabricated, white supremacist talking points is utterly disqualifying for public office. His sweeping erasure of Arab contributions to humanity is not only maliciously false, but it also fans the flames of anti-Arab and anti-Muslim hate at a time when communities are already vulnerable to bigoted attacks from other public officials nationwide. Anyone who holds such blatant contempt for an entire ethnicity has no business leading a federal agency meant to serve all Americans.

For the last several years, powerful politicians have increasingly said your freedom comes with their conditions. They must approve of how you look. They must approve of what you think. They must approve of how you worship. They must approve of your heritage. If you do not meet their approval, you do not belong. Their vision of American democracy does not work for you. It serves them… We proudly join 30+ faith leaders in launching “A Pledge for Moral Defiance,” pushing back against rising authoritarianism and the political weaponization of religion. moraldefiance.org #PledgeForMoralDefiance
We must refuse authoritarianism. I’m joining religious leaders representing more than 10 million people of faith to call it an existential threat to our country. Read why and add your name: moraldefiance.org
