Dolores was a trailblazer, a leader, and a steadfast ally to immigrant families.
Through the Dolores Huerta Foundation, she helped communities organize for better health, schools and economic opportunity.
Every year, the Foundation’s volunteer youth and staff join us at the Capitol for CIPC's Immigrant Day of Action.
As she put it: “When people come together and take collective action … this is how we make change.”
We’ll carry that fight forward. Our hearts are with her family and the @DoloresHuertaFD team.
