I've built a new product. The first serious thing I've made since creating Cap.
It's called Sandchest.com. It adds a hacker to your team that runs on abliterated models, the same ones that real hackers use... except this one works for you.
I'm really proud of it. Still early days but already used it to find vulnerabilities in multiple different projects now.

i've been using @cap for screen recordings, it's got a generous free plan
but it also allows self-hosting and using your own storage
so now you can send "loom" style videos hosted on your own site / database
plus @richiemcilroy has a coupon code HALLOWEEN30 for 30% off for life, which i subbed to right away
not sponsored, just a happy user. my link:

Can't believe I spent some many years with Loom when @cap is soooo much better.

btw you have free will, so you can just give your landing page, which has had over 1m visitors in the past 30 days, a Halloween theme 👻

pro tip for my fellow @cap users:
you can set a default file to save your recordings
and point your coding agent at it to grab the raw files if you don't want to edit the video in-app
big fan of what @richiemcilroy is building, and best screen recorder i've used 🫡

Used @cap as an MCP for the first time - very busy lately with work and it did a great job with recording a product demo for me while I work on other things!
This is the future.

I binned off Loom, man it's gone downhill - typical Atlassian "improvement".
Switched to @cap and it's been amazing, it just works - which is what we want!

Working on the next launch video for Cap 0.6.2
This release is going to be a banger. A few heavily requested features and even more performance improvements.
I wonder if we can keep knocking out back to back releases like this now, every single week?
Since posting this, we’ve merged 452 PRs.
We’ve now sponsored 18 people through GitHub, with $1,275 paid out in total 🫡
The offer still stands... make Cap’s GPUI desktop app faster, show it with benchmarks, and we’ll sponsor you!
