Cap now runs transcription for shareable links on our own GPU farm. The results so far have been incredible. Under 1 min: 3.7s → 0.3s 1-5 min: 5.3s → 0.8s 5-15 min: 6.9s → 1.4s 1 hour: 18s → 11.5s Up to 11x faster, across 25 different languages 🫡

Cap v0.6.1 is here. Our engine was always Rust. Now the UI is too, rebuilt on GPUI with no web view. It's much faster. Memory: 3.7 GB → 440 MB CPU: 77% → 18% Exports: up to 5x faster 180+ fixes and improvements from 41 contributors.
