All of us at Marvel Studios are deeply saddened by the passing of Sir Patrick Stewart. Sir Patrick brought Professor Charles Xavier to life with extraordinary grace, intelligence, and humanity, defining the character for generations of fans, from "X-Men" to "Logan" to "Avengers: Doomsday." He was a singular talent, a generous collaborator, and a true gentleman. Our hearts go out to his wife Sunny, his children, his friends, and the countless fans around the world whose lives he touched with his art.

I love how this Scorpion fight gave us a glimpse of how terrifying Spider-Man is when he’s not holding back.
In the comics, when Doctor Octopus swapped minds with Peter Parker and took over Spider-Man’s body in Superior Spider-Man, he fought Scorpion. Otto threw what he thought was a standard right hook without realizing Peter had spent his entire life pulling his punches.
The hit cleanly broke and detached Scorpion's entire jaw in a single blow, leaving Mac Gargan completely incapacitated.
Otto stood there in total disbelief realizing that Spider-Man could have ended him at any second over the years, and had been voluntarily holding back the vast majority of his true physical strength the entire time.

Ben Affleck says "Justice League" reshoots were "the low point of my career" and the studio used the death of Zack Snyder's daughter as an "excuse" to replace Snyder with Joss Whedon.
"That was sh*tty, him being taken off that movie and the reshoots that we did... Somebody's death by suicide eclipses everything. The way in which that was, I thought, used as an excuse [to replace Zack with Joss Whedon] was one of the sh*ttiest things I've ever seen. It was so gross. The whole environment and vibe [on set during the reshoots], much of which I was not privy to but heard secondhand from the actors, it was just, 'Wow, this is about as gross as it gets.'"

This reveal is why I can never turn on this movie. Genuinely mean-spirited and sickening in a way these movies are rarely ever allowed to be. Felt like a scene from Bendis' Ultimate Spider-Man where its a world where uncaring adults subject children to inhumane torture for profit

The five-star moment for me. You spend the whole movie thinking "V-Max" is gonna be revealed to be a weapon or substance that'll set up a future plotline, and then...it's a half-taped "Vent-Max" sign. The last thing Jean's sister saw while dying. Heartbreaking. Brilliantly done.
