Outstanding teamwork by our Miami Air and Marine Branch aircrew, Miami and Key Largo Marine Units, and @USCGSoutheast partners. 23 illegal aliens interdicted off the Florida coast. The border is CLOSED.
🚨Detected in the Dark: 23 illegal aliens including 13 Chinese nationals interdicted off Florida coast.
On Sept. 15, a Miami Air and Marine Branch Multi-Role Enforcement Aircraft conducting an Operation Vigilant Sentry patrol detected a suspicious surface target off the Florida coast near Angelfish Creek.
Marine Interdiction Agents from the Miami Marine Unit and Key Largo Marine Unit coordinated with the U.S. Coast Guard and moved in for the take down.
The target: a 27-foot cuddy cabin vessel suspected of being used for maritime smuggling.
The outcome: a safe interdiction without incident.
AMO and USCG personnel apprehended 23 individuals, including one suspected smuggler, a Cuban national, and 22 migrants of various nationalities: eight Ecuadorian nationals, 13 Chinese nationals, and one Dominican national.
The individuals were transferred to the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Pablo Valent for processing, and the vessel was seized.
This operation sends a clear message: attempting to enter the United States unlawfully by sea is extremely dangerous, puts lives at risk, and will not go undetected.

End of the Road: AMO’s Iconic P-3 Dome Takes Its Final Flight!
On September 30, 2026, the distinct silhouette of a four-engine turboprop carrying its massive rotating radar dome touched down for the final time at the National Air Security Operations Center in Jacksonville.
Our Jacksonville-based P-3 AEW fleet has served as a cornerstone of America’s outer-layer border security. Its crews flew far beyond our borders, providing wide-area surveillance across the Caribbean, Gulf of America, and the transit zones of Central and South America, helping detect and track threats before they could reach the United States.
This final landing marks more than the retirement of an aircraft. It marks the close of a remarkable chapter defined by vigilance, sacrifice, innovation, and unwavering commitment to protecting America.
Thank you, P-3 Dome, for decades of service to the mission and the Nation.

OVER 260,000 TOTAL POUNDS OF COCAINE SEIZED IN OPERATION PACIFIC VIPER.
Over the course of six days in the Eastern Pacific, the @USCG Cutter Tampa seized more than 25,000 pounds of cocaine in three interdictions, bringing the total amount of cocaine seized in Operation Pacific Viper to more than 260,000 pounds.
Under the leadership of President Trump and @SecMullinDHS, we will continue to defeat the narco-terrorists and stop the flow of deadly drugs into our country.
🚨Threats to our nation will be stopped long before they reach our shores.
On Sept. 11, an Air and Marine Operations P-3 on routine patrol detected a go-fast vessel in the source and transit zone that was initially dead in the water, then got underway before U.S. Coast Guard assets arrived. The P-3 crew vectored USCG air and surface assets to the vessel for a successful interdiction.
The operation resulted in 3 suspects detained and approximately 6,800 lbs. of cocaine seized at sea.
This is what a layered defense looks like: detection, coordination, and decisive action miles from the U.S. Homeland.

🚨GOT EM!🚨- AJO, Ariz. On Sept. 4, multiple Air and Marine Operations crews and Tucson Sector Border Patrol agents arrested an active scout during a coordinated operation near Ajo, Arizona.
An MQ-9 crew from the National Air Security Operations Center in Sierra Vista helped locate the scout in remote desert terrain. Tucson Air Branch H-60 Black Hawk and H125 AStar crews then responded, with the Black Hawk crew deploying specialized Border Patrol agents by fast rope to the scout site. Agents took the individual into custody without incident.
The operation highlights the critical role of AMO aircrews, advanced surveillance, and specialized Border Patrol agents in disrupting illegal activity along the border.
