We’re devastated to hear of the passing of Glynn Simmons, America’s longest-serving death row exoneree. Mr. Simmons spent 48 years on Oklahoma death row for a crime he didn’t commit. Please keep his loved ones in your thought and prayers.
Following his exoneration in 2023, we were honored to feature Mr. Simmons in a video where he shared his powerful story. youtu.be/kp-kBJ9ED4o?is=pq8L…

From Russell Moore: “And now, maybe the time is over for arguments about the abstractions...maybe now is the time to look at what we actually see in front of us: this broken system...If we do, I think we must conclude that, whatever justice requires, this isn’t it.” christianitytoday.com/2026/1…

Our statement on President Trump's reversal of the planned livestream execution of the Fort Hood shooter.
"We welcome President Trump’s decision not to livestream the planned execution of Nidal Hasan. His decision follows widespread condemnation of the public spectacle.
“But this reversal does not resolve the deeper questions around capital punishment. It wastes taxpayer dollars, fails the families of victims, and does not improve public safety.
"The controversy should prompt conservatives to look beyond the method of execution and ask a more fundamental question: Is the death penalty a power the government should have at all?”
