On October 27, 2026, Dr. Wang Huiyao, Founder of the Center for China and Globalization (CCG), was invited to attend and participated in a thematic panel in the UN World Investment Forum 2026 (WIF2026) held in Doha, Qatar.
Ambassador from Singaporea, Fiji, Japan, Malta, Portugal, and Latvia; and DCM of Indonesian Embassy to China attended the luncheon. Diplomats from the embassies of Azerbaijan, India, Japan, Kazakhstan, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, and the US in China also attended.
Fukunari Kimura, President of the Institute of Developing Economies, JETRO (IDE-JETRO), and Professor Emeritus and Senior Professor at Keio University, delivered a keynote speech, while Huiyao Wang Founder and President of CCG, delivered opening remarks.

On October 20, CCG welcomed Metin Hakverdi, a SPD Member of the Bundestag and the German Federal Government’s Coordinator for Transatlantic Cooperation; Marina Rudyak, Professor at Heidelberg University; and Niels Hegewisch, Officer at the Asia-Pacific Department of the FES.
