Some great words to reflect on here 👍
You can't change things outside of your control, but you can change your attitude. "You have power over your mind — not outside events. Realize this, and you will find strength.” #BeTheDistance #BeConnected

Spending as little as 2 hrs per week in green spaces can benefit your health & quality of life. Plus, the economic impact of areas like national parks on peoples’ mental health is $6 trillion per year worldwide 🏞️

It's #InternationalStressAwarenessWeek this week. #Stress is a significant factor in many mental health problems like anxiety and depression, and is linked to a raft of physical health issues like heart disease, immune system dysfunction, insomnia, and digestive issues👩‍⚕️

What can you do this week? #Talk about stress and it's effects, let's start reducing the stigma; #Share how you cope with stress; #bekindtooneanother, treat others with compassion and empathy; and look after yourself, take time out to #relax, eat well, exercise! 🧘‍♂️ @StressMgtSoc

This week is #MentalIllnessAwarenessWeek. In 2011, just over 230,000 people reported having a mental health condition. The oldest age group saw the highest proportion, with 10.2% of people aged 85 and over having a mental health condition. More here: ow.ly/pOo230m5ULI
