while i appreciate the attempt of mixing conventional design with super over-the-top effects, i almost wish the level generally rooted itself in a less standard style - i think it would have helped to put across just how strange and insane the level is in just about every way.

Castlevania: Belmont's Curse - 8.5/10 Art direction is stellar, and gameplay feels fantastic and just gets better as you go deeper - but, the OST does fall short a little. Not saying the music is bad, its just not the most memorable outside of a handful of tracks. Great stuff!
