Today is National POW/MIA Recognition Day. At City Hall Plaza this morning, we honored the brave American service members who endured captivity as prisoners of war and those who remain missing in action. Their sacrifice is remembered and the promise to bring them home endures! – at Boston, MA

Massachusetts VFW condemns head of progressive political advocacy group for “veteran” campaign sign...

The VFW is blasting the head of a progressive political advocacy group for criticizing a Democrat for including “veteran” on a reelection campaign sign, saying it has a “strong conservative vibe.”

The title VETERAN is earned and apolitical. It’s a distinction earned through sacrifice in defense of our Nation. To criticize a candidate for proudly displaying their status, under the guise that it sends a certain “political vibe”, an insult to everyone who has worn the uniform

The @ProgressiveMass criticized Senator Mike Rush,a U.S. Navy Officer for using the word “Veteran” on lawn signs. To criticize the military experience & leadership of a veteran is appalling, hurtful and shameful. The author of these anti-veteran comments should resign immediately!

‼️ Action Alert: Tell Congress to back H.R. 4837 and H.R. 2623. These bipartisan bills would expand choices for veterans receiving mental health care. 📢 Veterans deserve transparency, safety, and real choices. They do not deserve a maze of prescriptions and side effects. 👉 Take action TODAY: votervoice.net/VFW/Campaigns… #VFW #VFWAdvocacy #HonorTheContract
