Union Minister Shri G. Kishan Reddy @kishanreddybjp interacted with leading representatives of the Australian mining industry on the sidelines of #IMARC2026, including representatives from BHP, Bravus, Metso, Core Resources, High Titanium Resources and Technology Ltd etc. The Minister invited greater participation, investment and collaboration in India’s rapidly expanding mining and minerals sector.

The Union Cabinet, under the leadership of PM @narendramodi, has approved:
✅ The Khelo India Sports Goods Manufacturing Scheme with an outlay of Rs 1,857 crore, to boost domestic sports equipment production, increase exports, generate employment and reduce import dependence.
✅ A 3% hike in Dearness Allowance and Dearness Relief, benefiting over 1.17 crore Central government employees & pensioners.
✅ The Container Manufacturing Promotion Scheme with an outlay of Rs 10,000 crore, to expand domestic container manufacturing capacity nearly tenfold, boosting local production and reducing dependence on imports.
✅ The Pradhan Mantri Viksit Gram Swaraj Yojana with an outlay of Rs 7,395.55 crore to strengthen grassroots governance and enable more effective rural development planning.

A New Satellite, A Stronger Navigation Network
India's next-generation navigation capabilities are set for a boost with the planned GSLV-F18/NVS-03 mission.
The 20th GSLV flight will deploy NVS-03 into Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. The satellite features an indigenous atomic clock and adds the L1 signal to existing L5 and S signals, supporting continuity of navigation services across India and up to 1,500 km beyond its geopolitical boundary.
