The death rate in ICE detention centers is 8 times lower than it is in the general population. They are required to provide medical services in the detention centers. It's a well-known fact people die. I saw someone die at a baseball game. This is not news.
Democrats complaining about people starving in America are exaggerating. But you know that. All you have to do is look around. Obesity is the number one health problem of the poor in America.

Governor Abbott went on Fox this morning and didn't hold back on Gina Hinojosa. He said she supports Sharia law and Sharia communities, and he pointed to CAIR backing her campaign. Here in Texas, CAIR is designated a foreign terrorist organization, and Hinojosa voted against the bill that gave the governor the power to make that designation. Abbott says his focus is banning Sharia law, Sharia cities, and Sharia compounds in our state.
As a Texan, that vote tells me plenty. CAIR Action listed her as a preferred candidate, the same label it gave James Talarico in the Senate race. When a group with that designation puts your name on its list, voters deserve to know where you stand, and Texans should be asking her that question this week.
The latest Fox News poll has Abbott up five points, 52 to 47, and early voting runs through Friday. If you haven't voted yet, don't wait for Election Day.
