THE DEFENDER ON JOE ROGAN?
A story covered by The Defender is drawing attention on The Joe Rogan Experience
At 17, Arden Allison was drenched in glyphosate; Months later, he was diagnosed with cancer
His 7-year battle is a story worth hearing
@joerogan
She asked an AI chatbot about stopping her seizure medication. Her parents allege it told her to hide the plan from her doctor.
When she later reported symptoms resembling previous seizures, the lawsuit alleges ChatGPT repeatedly reassured her.
Wan died from a seizure in February.
The allegations have not yet been proven in court, and OpenAI says ChatGPT is not a substitute for medical care.
But as more people turn to AI for health advice, her case raises a difficult question:
What safeguards should exist when a chatbot begins making decisions about prescription medication?

The votes are in, but the message for MAHA and the health-freedom movement is anything but simple.
Some endorsed candidates won. Many others lost. Several prominent critics of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s health policies also scored major victories.
@brownstoneinst @TrialsiteN
Now, with control of Congress changing hands, advocates on all sides are asking what the results actually mean for the future of chronic-disease policy, vaccine debates and medical freedom.
Was this a rejection of the movement — or a sign that its next chapter may look very different?

Before a baby takes its first breath, environmental exposures may already be associated with changes in the developing immune system.
@ByondPesticides @Munk_EWG
Repeated exposure appeared especially important, with the third trimester emerging as a potentially sensitive window.
Pyrethroids are widely used to control insects, including in and around homes.
The study does not prove these exposures caused later illness. But it raises an important question for expectant families:
How much do we really know about the chemicals considered routine in our everyday environments?

How much influence should industry have over public-health policy meant to address chronic disease?
@USRightToKnow @StacyMalkan @GlyphosateGirl @thefoodbabe
The first MAHA report raised concerns about glyphosate and atrazine. The final strategy did not.
In between, CropLife America mobilized thousands of farmer letters, meetings with administration officials, congressional outreach, paid advertising and a messaging campaign.
Now the pesticide industry trade group is calling its effort to shape the MAHA strategy its “most significant accomplishment” of 2025.
CropLife says it was advocating for science-based policy and protecting farmers.

“Another death one day after vaccine.”
That was the subject line of a 2021 email sent by a New York City deputy chief medical examiner as officials discussed deaths occurring after COVID-19 vaccination
In one case, a previously healthy 16-year-old boy was found dead four days after his second Pfizer dose. Investigators sought input from colleagues about unusual heart findings.
The emails do not prove vaccination caused every death discussed.
But they reveal something the public rarely saw: the uncertainty, disagreement and questions unfolding behind the scenes.
What did medical examiners know — and how did they decide what counted as a safety signal?
