A couple of weeks ago, Jon and Cody from Expand Energy stopped by to lend a helping hand for a few hours, and we're so grateful they did! They spent their time helping create a more welcoming environment for the children and families we serve. 💙🌼

June was another month of hope, healing, and support for children and families in our community. 💜 Every conversation, therapy session, medical exam, and forensic interview represents a child who was met with compassion & a team committed to reducing trauma & promoting healing.

Happy Forensic Interviewer Appreciation Week! Grateful for Joanne and Sara and all they bring to the team to help kids feel heard. 🩵 💬

At first glance, it’s just a room. But here, kids find the courage to share their stories. They’re met with patience, compassion, and professionals trained to listen. This National Forensic Interviewers Week, we honor the forensic interviewers who help children heal. 💜

🎤 Standing up for children can sometimes start with stand-up comedy. Thank you Bradford County Regional Arts Council, Jason Gowin, the comedians, and everyone who joined us in March for an evening of laughter and generosity. Together, you helped raise $1,400 for CHCAC.🏠

Back in May, during #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth Sara set up an info table to share prevention, and program information at the Paint The Town Purple event! 💜

Congrats to Tina for completing the training in EMDR! 👏 With this, CHCAC now offers four types of therapy modalities at no cost to qualifying children and families in our service area. 🧠

Special thanks to Moose’s for being a Partner in Prevention this past April! Helping to raise $1,500 for the center! 👏
