This is a first for me from this author, but it won’t be the last, for sure. Perfect for fans of Halloween, horror, and thrillers with a twist. A great seasonal short story to get into the spooky spirit. @CemeteryDance @RichardChizmar

Feels like a fictional blend of Can You Ever Forgive Me?’s forgery & the dark, obsessive atmosphere of a sapphic academia novel. The house and its somewhat sordid past had me picturing something similar to Hill House or The Overlook Hotel, and I love that

My revelation: there are 3 books of the dead: The Evil Dead’s, Evil Dead’s, & Evil Read Rise’s. I’m now saying there’s 4, & it’s Book from this
Made of human flesh, filled with spells for the dead and immortality? The difference is they’re witches so they aren’t regular deadites
For fans of Malerman. Of the art world and horror, thriller, and mystery. For fans who want to read something unique and strange. It reminded me of Kealan Patrick Burke’s Grim Portraits and pieces of Velvet Buzzsaw, with an almost Alfred Hitchcock twist

Creepy, solid dual timeline story. I really enjoyed the transitions & time jumping
Can really see the Flanagan flair take shape! Don’t do most ghost or possessed item movies (which is strange because I wrote one), but this delivers a story that breaks & fits the typical mold
Wondering how it went from September 15th to almost the end of October already? Me too!
But let me alleviate the endless scrolling on streaming deciding what to watch—check out this list instead!
From family friendly to anything but, and all Halloween

My initial watch I very nearly hated this movie. And while I don’t think it’s grossly underrated, this was definitely better on a rewatch
Feels like a one-off Twilight Zone meets West World film that could act as a precursor to Stine’s The Haunted Mask
The writer’s room, “HEAR ME OUT! A xenomorph with a vaguely pumpkin-shaped head!” Rabid applause
This is on every Halloween list I see, but it’s just a creature from a pumpkin patch with falling leaves … so, just autumn?
Creature design is wild and the practical work is great

Thanks, Gabino. Kindle presale is live for my next book on sale 10/31. The ever-supportive @beaujohnson44 has this to say:
"Wildman might just be the darkest version of hope I've ever read."

Like Creature Features? Watch these Shows! This is going to be a little different, honestly. There aren’t nearly as many shows when it comes to standard CFs, but I think I have a decent group of shows to share. Keep in mind some may be a little out there

Turns out I forgot the anniversary of my own collection, Tales From Cemetery, so no wonder no one else is talking about it 🤣
Anyway, 10/7 was its one year anniversary. 10 shorts and a bonus novelette. Perfect for Spooky Season and Halloween

1 day to go before the release of Suffer Their Going from @silverthistleps!
Eleanor's husband loved toy soldiers. When Eleanor finds his favorite figure - Napoleon - in strange places around the house, she thinks it's Henry trying to communicate with her from beyond the grave.
