🧵(1/2) There are enough dry docks for a quiet peacetime. Not enough for a bigger Navy, icebreakers, or a real war.
This is infrastructure + workforce + a demand signal that lasts longer than one budget cycle. Also a coalition problem: battle-damage repair will use allied yards, or it won’t happen at scale.

14 years ago we lost Ambassador Chris Stevens in Benghazi. @Admiral_Foggo worked with him during the Libya campaign. He was courageous, informed, and full of hope for a free Libya. Diplomats stand on the tip of the spear too. Thank them for their service. Remember Chris.
