There's a lot of totally correct talk about how @StaceyAbrams was pivotal to winning Georgia. Folks: Stacey & her team were pivotal to flipping Wisconsin too. And every other battleground. They worked with us to build massive, supercharged voter protection teams—starting *early.*

31% of renters haven't been able to pay rent this month.
The average U.S. apt rent is $1,460 so that $1,200 check isn't even going to cover a month rent, let alone food, utilities, health care and everything else you need to survive.
Americans need more

Proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with our community in fierce opposition to this half-baked, inhumane and just plain wrong proposal to house over 200 children in warehouse-type shelter. #Takoma #Ward4 #NoShelter

This morning, @realDonaldTrump provided more empty promises to the American people and little to no solutions. Our communities are constantly recovering from senseless acts of gun violence and the American people are demanding action. #RootOutRacism #EnoughIsEnough

Turnout was low for the Virginia primaries, though in line with off-year elections in years past.
Though incumbents for the most part held on, narrow margins may put some on notice.

Today, we celebrate Dr. King’s birth, but if we look at his final speech before the last day of his life, we see a defiant call to action in the face of opposition and criticism, a proclamation of radical income redistribution, and deep gratitude for living in that time.

I’ve always drawn inspiration from what Dr. King called life’s most persistent and urgent question: "What are you doing for others?" Let’s honor his legacy by standing up for what is right in our communities and taking steps to make a positive impact on the world.

Barack Obama: "A president doesn't get to decide on his own who's an American citizen and who's not. That's not how the Constitution of the United States works. That's not how the Bill of Rights works. That's not how our democracy works." hill.cm/sv2SZCF
