The Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Bengaluru, conducted the first-time testing of the battery-operated Non-Contact Voltage Detector (NCVD) Watch and NCVD Helmet, developed by M/s. CIYES Systems Pvt. Ltd., Coimbatore, for verification of their IP54 degree of protection.
⚡ CPRI provided technical support for testing three distribution transformers at MePDCL, Meghalaya, in October 2026, under the MoU for establishing a distribution transformer testing facility in Meghalaya. The testing was carried out by CPRI officials from Bengaluru and Guwahati
