Students at Build Up Community School in Birmingham worked with @UABNews researchers to monitor classroom air quality, then built Corsi-Rosenthal boxes now installed throughout the school. Wonderful work! @CorsIAQ @JimRosenthal4 wvtm13.com/article/birmingha…

Today I had the privilege of speaking to science teachers across the state of ________ about:
- the importance of clean air
- a student-led statewide inventory of classroom air cleaners
- a @CRFoundationUS STEM unit for students to measure and clean the air.
Guess what state?

Do you need to sit right near the air purifier? This test in a classroom found large reductions in small particles throughout the room. Good work, CR Box! 👏 @CRFoundationUS

If you're dealing with #wildfire smoke, get relief by duct taping a MERV-13 or better HVAC filter to the back of a box fan.
Good brands: Filtrete, Nordic Pure, Tex Air
This one cleans about 100 million cubit ft of air per year when left on 24/7. 👍
LOL! 🤣
We're grateful for all the work @Liesl4CleanAir is doing to develop FREE middle school STEM lessons plans ... including lighting fires in her garage.
The CR STEM Kits will be ready for back-to-school. Sorry, no🔥involved. But if you want to pilot the lessons, let us know
Dear neighbors:
No, my house is not on fire.
I’m just burning paper in a pan in my garage to generate particles to test out my CR box with a new particle counter.
Don’t you ever do that?!? 🙃

More famous for celebrities like @russellcrowe, great to see kids & schools supported with advantages of similar IAQ as @WHO or Parliaments secured for themselves! Staring with @CRFoundationUS & many other positive advocates for improving health, education, & reducing poverty.
We got a message this week from Róise, a student who completed her project on air quality in primary school classrooms at Scoil Naomh Bríd in Muff, Donegal and found Smart Air along the way.
She said she wishes her own school had air purifiers... 💙

Our Student Startup Center is awesome, and it has a highly effective and well-used air cleaner (see background).

Did you know that the average price of air purifiers recommended by big media sites is $400?
But you most definitely don’t need to spend $400 to get a good purifier...

BIG things are coming!!
The CR Foundation board gathered (in-person & virtual) this past weekend to chart our path forward.
We can’t wait to share what we have up our sleeves.
@CorsIAQ @JimRosenthal4 @Liesl4CleanAir
(And we got to feed Protege!)
The Corsi-Rosenthal Foundation is engaged in a project supplying CR boxes & @cleanairkits to a few schools in Texas. We're tracking various metrics & hope to have some interesting data to share next year.
Thank you to all who support our Foundation that make this work possible.
I spent the past 3 days in Texas building over 60 CR boxes and @cleanairkits for multiple schools.
Every classroom now has a portable air cleaner to help teachers and students be healthier and learn better.
@CRFoundationUS
Why was this important to do?
