Two child molesters at a time ?, Jonathan Watson, 41, admitted to the killings in a letter to the Bay Area News Group in Northern California. Watson said he snapped and killed these men on January 16 at the State Prison in Corcoran, just hours after he warned a counselor that he may become violent, but was reportedly ignored. He then battered 48-year-old David Bobb and 62-year-old Graham De Luis-Conti with the cane. The attack took place at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison in Corcoran, California. He said he believed the child molester was taunting him by watching children’s television program, writing in the letter that he could not sleep at not ‘having not done what every instinct told I should’ve done right then and there.’ Watson said he told a prison counselor that he needed to be transferred to higher-level security ‘before i really fucked one of these dudes up,’ but the counselor ‘scoffed and dismissed’ him, he wrote.‘I was mulling it all over when along came Molester #1 and he put his TV right on PBS Kids again,’ he said. But this time, someone else said something to the effect of “Is this guy really going to watch this right in front of us?” and I recall saying, “I got this.” And I picked up the cane and went to work on him.’ He said he left the unit to find a guard and turn himself in, but then he saw another ‘known child trafficker’ on his way. ‘I figured I’d just do everybody a favor. In for a penny, in for a pound,’ he wrote. Watson then told a guard, who he said did not believe him ‘until he looked around the corner and saw the mess I left in the dorm area.’ He has since been moved to segregated housing. He is being investigated for the killings, but he has not been charged yet. ‘Being a lifer, I’m in a unique position where I sometimes have access to these people and I have so little to lose. And trust me, we get it, these people are every parents’ worst nightmare.’

A father’s love for his daughter never ends, even when her time here does. There are no words to describe the heartbreak of losing a child or the emptiness that lasts a lifetime. The years may pass, but the love, the memories, and the longing to have her here with us never fade. If you are able, please consider making a donation to support us as we walk to honor Autumn this Saturday. These donations, no matter how small, help fund life-saving research, suicide prevention education, and support for families who know the unimaginable heartbreak of losing someone they love. Autumn will always be my daughter, our heroic archer. She will always be loved and always be a part of everything I do. afspwalks.donordrive.com/tea…

EBONYI STATE: SECURITY, CORRUPTION, NATIONAL UNITY AND THE DIGNITY OF EVERY NIGERIAN My grassroots sensitisation tour brought me to Ebonyi, the Salt State, today, 29th October 2026, following yesterday’s visit to Akwanga, Nasarawa State, as our nationwide Town Hall Series continues. In Ebonyi, I made a stop at Nkalagu and Ezillo to greet and acknowledge our supporters and briefly visited the market in Ezillo, where I interacted with our hardworking women who trade and bring farm produce to market. In Abakaliki, I joined our party supporters on a road walk to the venue of our town hall meeting. At the town hall, participants raised concerns about insecurity, particularly kidnapping and banditry; corruption; government borrowing; and the deteriorating condition of our hospitals, schools, and other essential amenities. The most touching contribution came from a participant representing persons living with disabilities, who spoke about the challenges they face and the apparent lack of adequate support from government and society. I assured the participants that, upon election, our foremost priorities will be to unite the country, decisively tackle insecurity and confront corruption, while pulling our people out of poverty. To our brothers and sisters living with disabilities, I reiterated that the compassion of a nation is measured by how it treats its most vulnerable citizens. We will work with state governments to ensure their inclusion, proper care and dignity. We will also invest massively in education and healthcare, including at least one fully functional primary healthcare centre in every political ward across Nigeria, while working to reduce the cost of living and expand opportunities for all. I sincerely thank the participants, our party members, the organisers and the good people of Ebonyi State for their warm reception, enthusiasm and active participation. A New Nigeria is POssible, and Nigeria will be OK! -PO

I knew Nigerians were done for life when people started saying an aspiring presidential candidate was ‘stingy’ simply coz he wasn’t willing to bribe people to vote for him.
