“Shaken Loose” by Ilana DeBare is a fabulous read. I had trepidations about a book set in Biblical Hell, but it is a captivating story with lots of sly wit and an enlightening exploration of the road to redemption. It’s available for pre-order now.

I'm writing an article for @SFChronicle about an unintended consequence of the opioid crisis: The clampdown on medications for people who suffer chronic pain. I'm seeking to interview Bay Area people who have had trouble obtaining medication they need.

Thanks ⁦@Fritinancy⁩ & ⁦@nhmeems⁩ ! #spellingbee

Woohoo! (Not a spoiler!) Two QB days in a row. My honey helped me get that last O word. #spellingbee
