Today is #Srebrenica Memorial Day which marks the 28th anniversary of the Bosnian genocide in which over 8,000 Muslim men and boys were murdered in the space of just a few days, and dumped in mass graves. In 2023, a significant number of the victims remains are still missing

A year ago we worked with @BritishAcademy_ @royalsociety and others to launch the 'Researchers at Risk' scheme, a rescue mission for academics in Ukraine forced to flee by Russia's attack. A year on, 177 academics and 200 dependants are safe. Read more at thebritishacademy.ac.uk/news…
