School placements have started for our new #secondary trainee teachers. They have had time to observe in the classroom and will soon be teaching for the first time themselves - putting their early training sessions into practice. We wish you all the best.
Recruitment is now open for our #teachertraining #primary and #secondary #PGCE with #QTS courses starting in September 2026.
Have you thought about training to be a teacher?
Where will you be this time next year?

Our #primary trainee teachers continue to prepare for their first placement. They have met the pupils, observed experienced teachers and now look forward to putting their new teaching skills into practice. Good luck - we’re looking forward to hearing all about it.
@CumbriaUniEd
Our trainee teachers are now in their placement schools beginning to experience the role of a teacher. It’s great to see their excitement at reaching this much anticipated milestone in their #PGCE with #QTS course.

Wonderful to join with our trainees in the chapel at Cardinal Newman College, as they celebrate the end of their PGCE with the Catholic Teaching Alliance. An honour to give the address to remind them of the joy of teaching & their important role in educating the future generation
Celebrations! A wonderful event yesterday to mark a successful year for our Class of 2025.
Trainees and their families celebrated all that they had achieved. Congratulations to everyone as they look forward to their careers in teaching.
