#WomensHistoryMonth Dr. Judy Sakaki made history as the first Japanese American woman to lead a four-year public university in the U.S. as president of @SSU_1961. A proud @calstate alum, she has dedicated her career to advancing student success in California higher education.

#WomensHistoryMonth2025 Helen Heffernan shaped the future of California’s public schools, advocating for policies that emphasized early childhood education and progressive learning approaches. Her work helped create a more inclusive and student-centered educational system.

#WomensHistoryMonth2025 Anne Carroll Moore revolutionized children's libraries, transforming them into vibrant & welcoming spaces. Anne helped oversee the Children's Center at the @nypl from its opening in 1911, the current home to the original Winnie-the-Pooh!
