Super excited to announce my commitment to Eastern Kentucky University. I want to first thank my parents for always supporting me and giving me this opportunity. Second I want to thank my coaches, friends, and family. Without you all I would not be where I am today.

Introducing My Recruiting Story. Committed players walking the kids behind them through how it actually happened.
Cale Hackenberg is a catcher at Marcellus headed to Eastern Kentucky, and his story has everything in it: the first text from Toledo, a Michigan and Boston College that never got past a call, a Kentucky camp that went silent, and the visit to EKU where every player already knew his name. Plus his honest take on which camps and showcases are worth the money.
