2021 he was the utility player.
2022 he was half back for most of the season with Doddy out and Hopoate/Bennison at fb.
2023 was his last good year but we won nothing. Yes the WCC but that was at the very start of the year.
2024 he was poor. We won nothing.
2025 he was poor and if my memory serves me right we won 11/12 with him out injured
2026 he was terrible in the majority of games. He cost us magic with ill discipine. He costs us so many tries in defence.
But like always I’m happy to be proved wrong. When was his last great game for saints?
The fact that the majority of our fanbase see this news as a reason to slag Welsby off is incredible. Short memories.
