STATELINE SHOWDOWN @ The Cotton Bowl 🏈 No. 3 in Texas vs. No. 3 in Oklahoma. Southlake Carroll Dragons meets the Jenks Trojans under the lights at historic Cotton Bowl Stadium in the first of what could be many Stateline Showdown rivalry games. This season opener brings together two powerhouse programs with 26 combined state titles. Pairing Oklahoma's 18-time champion Jenks against Texas's 8-time champion Dragons, there is more championship hardware on this field than you can find anywhere in the country. It also marks the official start of the Lee Munn era for Dragon Football, giving Coach Munn an elite interstate challenge right out of the gate. Coach Adam Gaylor leads the Trojans in his second year at the helm. Both teams lost in their state semifinal games last season, but have state championship aspirations in 2026. Games on this stage take massive coordination behind the scenes. We want to extend a sincere thank you to the @DragonTDClub for spearheading the initial planning of this premier matchup, as well as the leadership of both @SLCAthletics and @jenkstrojans for making this event a reality. @BasinVentures is honored to serve as the Title Sponsor for this game and we can't wait to watch the excellence on the field from all these exceptional student athletes and coaches.
