An observation about infection clusters at UNC Schools - Chapel Hill and otherwise: It's been obvious from the beginning of planning there would be infections and clusters. That's why from the beginning students, staff and faculty expressed concerns - particularly w/ dorms. (1/6)
I always find myself smiling and laughing along when creepy men engage me in creepy conversations, thinking that will get me out quickly & “respectfully”. That’s my instinct. Why the hell is my instinct to choose respectability in situations that are genuinely dangerous?
How could ANYONE look at the way police departments across the country have responded to protestors and say “Yeah, this institution is fine the way it is”??
