I’m thrilled to share that I, along with @Dame_Lillard, are the recipients of @SelfEnhancement’s Soul of the City Awards this year!
Last night was unbelievable!!
Across the country, we saw voters surge to the ballot box. The voter turnout and the final results defied expectations. And now things are gonna change for real.
We all just woke up to a Brand New Day.
I hope the 2026 elections serve as motivation and inspiration to us all. We can’t slow down or lose sight of the prize.
It’s time to do the work!!
The movement continues! No Kings in Downtown Portland!! ✊🏼✊🏽✊🏾✊🏿

We had a GREAT weekend serving our community! Supported our fourth and final Back to School Giveaway event at Dawson Park with New Direction Community Church.
Thanks to our collaborative efforts, hundreds of Portland youth will be starting school ready to learn! 🎒📏📚✏️✨
All smiles at today’s Back 2 School Celebration!
Brown Hope donated backpacks and school supplies to support Rose City Jam, Black Men In Training, and Elate Youth. Black community collaboration at its finest!

Brown Hope helped out today with Beyond Tha Streetz’s annual Back to School Community Giveback!
Our mutual aid program donated highlighters, colored pencils, and scissors, and we helped distribute hundreds of backpacks.
Glad to see children supported. It takes a village! ✊🏾🖤
It’s the Last Day at Lloyd Center Mall! The end of an era.
Thousands of Portlanders showed up in, well, typical Portland fashion. Improv flash mobs, drum lines, buskers, roller skaters, and an army of red-clad Santas.
I carry a lot of memories from this beloved mall. Like the time I got my ears pierced at a Lloyd Center kiosk in 2010. I’m so deeply grateful that it’s 66 year legacy was given once last spirited hurrah.
Gather is tomorrow!!! 🙌🏾 🎆
Join us for a night of stories and songs, ceremony and community. We’ll be at Wilshire Park from 6-8:30pm. The event is all ages!
Let’s create a more Interdependent and empowered Portland. See you tomorrow! ✊🏾🖤

Thanks Blackthorn Mercantile for signing up as a Juneteenth business supporter for Brown Hope!
I stopped by the store today to pick up a candle and some palo santo. So grateful to our small business community for showing solidarity with our Black neighbors! ✊🏾🖤

PDXchange is a proud supporter of Brown Hope’s Juneteenth campaign! If you shop at this business over the weekend, part of your purchase will be donated to benefit our programs.
I stopped by today to get a copy of the Artitude PDX magazine, which includes an interview of our recent Thrive 2.0 event!
