Do #turtle warning signs reduce roadkill? A new paper in @CanFieldNat shows that they do not. This #research can help us focus on solutions to roadkill including wildlife fencing and crossing structures. Great work by @CWF_FCF Turtle Team! #HelpTheTurtles ow.ly/oS3y50z4Ux7

Do turtle warning signs reduce roadkill?
No, but they can be part of an outreach campaign that is paired with the fencing and crossing structures needed to effectively reduce roadkill. 57 dead turtles over 2 years on only 8 km of road is too many!
