Incident Near Kyiv
On Nov 2, police were dispatched to Petropavlivska Borshchahivka after an ambulance crew reported being blocked from reaching a patient inside a private house where National Guard soldiers were present.
Telegram channels alleged armed men were holding around 40 people in the basement, with unverified claims of one death.
National police later denied reports of unlawful detention and deaths.
National Guard Commander Major General Oleksandr Pivnenko stated that service members who had gone absent without leave were inside the house.
