I’m Back! Starting tomorrow I’ll be back on the Hochman Crowder Solana Show on WQAM 104.3 FM. 3pm. Look out Miami, here I come. The best show just got better.
It was great seeing one of my former players at the game tonight. Deandre Burnett was an amazing scorer. I’ll never forget his game winning shots when we beat Boston College in OT.

College is for education. The NCAA should require international players to have enough remaining eligibility to realistically earn a degree. Otherwise, we’re not talking about college athletics anymore. We’re talking about professional basketball being played on college campuses.
A friend of mine signed 6 international pro players and 2 high school seniors. The NCAA has created or allowed an unbalanced system that is very unhealthy for the sport I love.
SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey filed an affidavit opposing former St. John’s star RJ Luis Jr. playing for LSU. American pros can’t play in college but European pros can. Can someone explain that to me!
How does this make sense? The NCAA allows pro players from Europe with 1 year of eligibility, to play college basketball, taking scholarship opportunities away from American high school prospects. Is this really what college basketball is supposed to be?
When I was growing up in New York my parents didn’t allow four-letter words. If you cursed, they’d wash your mouth out with soap. Today, vulgar language seems to be everywhere.
Has vulgarity simply become an acceptable part of our culture?

Henry Larranaga is another Team Durant 2030 who stood out. He’s a skilled spot-up scorer who can also take smaller matchups into the post and was impactful across the court. 15 points with 2 3PM in a game one win today. Grandson of the great Head Coach Jim Larranaga.
Great visiting with Hakeem Olajuwon at the NBA Players Association Top 100 Basketball Camp. He’s a master educator in the game of basketball.

Lunch with a legend discussing legendary things!! NO NOT ME dummy, The real legend @CanesCoachL Da 🙌🏾 4EVER
I think the NBA should do 2 things to keep players from flopping: a) a huge fine for the owner b) a suspension without pay for the player. Officiating is hard enough without the players flopping. Fans deserve better.
One of the best road wins vs. Top 10 team. instagram.com/reel/DYcNAbPBp…
#TBT One of my favorite memories in college was playing in MSG against UCLA and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. I’m #25 and I’m about to steal the entry pass. 🤣 @kaj33 @UCLAMBB @PCFriarsmbb #basketball
