Inside, they discovered the bodies of Benoit, his wife Nancy, and their 7-year-old son Daniel. Authorities found no additional suspects, determining that Benoit had committed the murders over a three-day period before taking his own life. Nancy had been bound before her death, and Daniel was drugged with Xanax and likely unconscious when Benoit strangled him. Benoit ultimately hanged himself using a lat pulldown machine.
