When you know a game isn’t going to release before 2028, but the studio behind it supports true physical releases on Switch 2:

Oh, no. This one really does hurt. Patrick Stewart has passed away. Rest in peace, Captain.
It didn’t come off cleanly…
I went to IKEA today to buy a new shelf, and I also found this Xbox joystick stool. It looked pretty nice in the pictures, so we’ll see. 😁

Pretty performative, and it’s probably just a way for them to seek attention and boost sales on other platforms.
Maybe they’re struggling financially or something similar.
Celeste and TowerFall are leaving Xbox over a political boycott to Microsoft
Maddy Thorson, creator of both indie games, confirmed that they have been removed from the Xbox store in support of the BDS movement, which calls for a boycott of Microsoft over its ties to Israel.
Earlier this month, the creators of Big Walk also confirmed they would not release their game on Xbox because of the boycott.

Well Maddy Thorson definitely did more than House House, since Untitled Goose Game is STILL listed on Xbox.
At least this doesn’t seem as performative.
I just wanna buy and play games, I guess I won’t be getting Towerfall anymore. So much for being passionate for games.
BREAKING:
Celeste and Towerfall, two critically-acclaimed games made by the developer Maddy Thorson, have just been delisted on Xbox without warning to support the BDS movement.
Here's what Thorson had to say about the matter on BlueSky: "For those who’re asking, yes we delisted Celeste and TowerFall on XBox. We did this to support the BDS boycott."

The concept looks alright, but was that opening scene supposed to be funny? Millennial writing…

The problem with Xbox is that its consoles are either unavailable or too expensive, especially when compared to the competition.
It’s heading in a good direction, but Xbox as a console brand has been weakened for over 10 years now, and it’s going to take a long time to recover
