#GeneralConference feels like a good time to show a project I’ve been working on for a few months. I was inspired by the upcoming Celebration to build a 1:1 replica of the Salt Lake Temple in Minecraft’s Survival Mode. I just finished the exterior this morning.

I read just about everything I could find on the temple’s construction and made trips to Temple Square (and @jdawgsutah)once a week to take photos and observations. It is, as the Church said recently, one of the most sacred places on Earth.

Even as a non-religious person, I personally cringe at the hubris required to personally tell the Pope that you think your company has created an ensouled being, thus rendering Anthropic equivalent to God the creator. Further, that you did it for profit and it is now enslaved.

Rainn is currently filming a feature-length faith documentary. During his time in Salt Lake City, Rainn also met with Elder Peter M. Johnson, General Authority Seventy, for a conversation about faith and the Book of Mormon. We’re grateful for the opportunity to share this time with Rainn!
