I came across an old article. A relative of a Welsh woman who died in 1966 was launching a campaign, ultimately hoping more people in Wales would know her name. Don't think I've many Welsh followers but I would like people in Ireland to know her name. /1

So many great roles/lines in his career but the first that comes to mind is Captain Picard's 'Make it so'. Star Trek: The Next Generation influential in shifting TV forward towards multi-episode stories & character arcs. Great performance from a great actor. R.I.P. Patrick 🙏

25th anniversary for Hayley Kellie Curtis (23), a vulnerable young woman. Murdered by Philip Stanley (58) from Essex on October 29th, 2001 and body found in Petersfield, Hampshire. Gardaí did great work quickly finding him in Dublin, to be extradited back. R.I.P. Hayley ❤️

Anniversary of Vidya Devi Aujla (31), killed by her husband October 29th, 1973 in Wolverhampton. "My sister was very attractive with lovely long hair and worked hard. She had a day job, a night job, on top of 3 children, cooking, cleaning." -Krishna Aujla (19) R.I.P Vidya ❤️

Anniversary of Mary Teresa "The Saint" Powell (67). Murdered by burglar, Edward Duggan (19), October 29th, 1971 at St. Patricks Buildings, Moyderwell, Tralee. Everyone in Tralee liked her & knew her as 'The Saint' - never missed mass, carried rosary beads. R.I.P. Mary 🙏

"Irene Miller had an adult babysitter who got them ready for school and her 14-year-old daughter was there. The children were returned to her estranged husband, who was recently charged with assaulting her." Good job, police, I'm sure the children feel safer now. Clowns.

Anniversary today for Shirley Anne Wallace (39), born on June 1st, 1933 and died October 28th, 1972. Murdered by boyfriend, Thomas Chipping, at 3 Bethel Terrace, Ellacombe, Torquay, Devon. Shirley was an animal lover, who did a lot of work for the RSPCA. R.I.P. Shirley ❤️

Anniversary for Irish family killed on October 28th, 1979 at Albyn Road, Deptford, London. Carmel Brennan (49, née Finnegan), John (50), Sandra (14), Gerald (11). Anthony Phillip (17), burglar, got 10 years for quadruple manslaughter. Usual travesty. R.I.P. Brennan family ❤️

Loredana adopted his surname on Facebook, soon after getting together. Historically hundreds of women murdered in Ireland & UK were pressured by the killer into adopting his surname, early on. To my mind a huge red flag, indicating the man views the woman as his possession.
