Joined my colleagues in protesting the Trump Administration’s plans to destroy D.C.’s 15th street bike lane. It was a big win yesterday when a judge ruled that the Administration cannot proceed with their plans to destroy the beautiful route that over a million cyclist use yearly.

First, Trump illegally tried to fire the 3 Democratic commissioners from the Consumer Product Safety Commission — now, their official accounts have been deleted.
What happened to freedom of speech? What happened to transparency?
Silencing public servants who fight to keep you safe from dangerous products sets a chilling precedent. We should all be asking: What are they trying to hide?

BREAKING: The Trump administration has moved to illegally purge the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC)—attempting to fire Commissioners @TrumkaCPSC and @BoyleCPSC via email, while blocking Chair @HoehnSaricCPSC from doing his job without formally removing him.
Today, Trumka and Hoehn-Saric joined lawmakers and advocates to condemn this attack on the CPSC’s independence.
