A really nice demo you should check out! I enjoyed the fresh take on survival horror quite a lot! And a bit of souls-like in it too but actually very much N64 Zelda with horror 🫴

This week is the 5th Anniversary of Alisa! Combined with the Steam Halloween Sale, you can now grab it for the lowest price ever! -70% that's less than 5 bucks! More interesting Alisa related things will be announced this week! Stay tuned!

If you don't have Alisa yet, why not get Tenebris Somnia and Alisa at the same time? ⭐️ Bundle available on Steam!

Yes, but for now we like to "spin-off" a bit. To deepen the lore, explore it's universe, etc. So if Alisa 2 happens some day, it'll have a greater impact.
Is there any plans on making a sequel?

Signalis this, Crow Country that! They’re both pretty damn good… but real Survival Horror fans who know ball have played Alisa!

After The Parting is done, I will definitely part with Unity. I lost a whole day trying to figure out why it was spitting out a broken build. Found a workaround but still getting some really inconsistent results. I'll probably make my own engine in SDL some day after all of this.

Glad that Alisa: The Parting's frame rate is still as good as classic Alisa. The most complex scene on my mid-tier gaming PC runs at around 800fps and the main menu 6000fps but my GPU starts to output a squealing noise so I'll have to sadly cap the frame rate to under 1000...

True indeed! At the end of October it'll be Alisa's 5th anniversary! How time flies... Original goal was to release Alisa: The Parting (full game). But atleast I might be able to release the demo if no unforseen obstacle shows up!

Greetings, and good evening from my part of the world! If I remember correctly, Alisa celebrates her fifth birthday around this time! Happy birthday to Alisa! It truly deserves its place among the greats.

Thank you for all the feedback! I'm currently not allowing custom key binds for keyboard controls in The Parting so I created 2 control types. 1 is the default Alisa controls and 1 is a combination of the feedback I got using WASD for movement.
Any of you played #AlisaGame with a keyboard? If so, did you play with the standard controls or did you make your own controls with WASD to move? What were your bindings? Looking for the ideal WASD controls for Alisa: The Parting while not including mouse support.

And for the controller users: there will now be automatic plug and play controller recognition with the same 2 control types as for the console version of Alisa.

Alisa: The Parting (Demo) will soon go into the localization stage & I'm looking for fans who want to be part of the project to translate it into: German, Korean & Turkish. Giving fans priority to be part of this big project before choosing freelancers or translation companies.

The languages that aren't summed up are already taken care of. We are also missing: Swedish, Finnish and Danish but I'm not sure if these languages are very important to include? Most of the people in these countries already know or prefer English for gaming. What do you think?

I just can't stop appreciating the pixels in this view while working on this cutscene. There is just so much personality and emotion in those faces. Look at how tired they all look! Reject 4K photorealism.
Jean's face turned kinda funny with those wobbly pixels

It's been absolutely forever... I wish I could have another word for "soon". But still working hard everyday! 🙏 Want to get something playable out in a couple of months! A demo to be precise.
