New this week: CatScope Flow 🌊
We're building a toolkit to build and deploy Solana trading bots/VM from your browser.
• Build and deploy, start to finish, in the browser
• Bot templates and an assistant to get you started
• Already have a bot, strategy, or idea? You can bring it
• Leaderboard to see how bots perform
And more to come 👀
Week 4 at Crypto World's Fair
@colosseum
Shipped:
· Cloud version of CatScope, in progress
· Public repos with READMEs + tested example bots
· Updated quickstart guides
· Marketplace walkthrough on the website
Plus what explaining infrastructure taught us.
1/5🧵..
The week's lesson: the fastest way to understand infrastructure is to use it.
So this week was about getting people hands-on sooner: a browser start, quickstarts that match the tools, and example bots ready to run.

Week 2 at Crypto World's Fair @colosseum
Shipped:
· Latency test, open source
· xStocks liquidation engine
· Streamlined setup
· Runtime sustaining 15,045 account updates/sec
Plus what a week of edge cases taught us.

We also got feedback from testers, and made onboarding even easier.
We grouped wallet and treasury setup into one step.

Week 1 building in public at Crypto World's Fair @colosseum
Our focus this hackathon is distribution: dev tooling, and a benchmarked latency test:
🧵1/4:
The latency test is the low-friction way in. Run it on your own setup and see the difference yourself, rather than take our word for it.
Built and running on mainnet this week.
Also found a function making 2,000 database calls where one batch would do. Slots now process in 30ms.
🧵3/4:
1/ August at CatScope.
A low-latency data store inside the validator:
1 billion accounts covered
< 3 hours to index and sync with the network
200–300ms average block processing
< 20ms from validator receive to WASM bot read
2/ August at CatScope.
Solana's slot time stepped down to 350ms this month, with 200ms and Alpenglow ahead. We tested our stack against Agave v4.2 on mainnet, tuned the parts of the pipeline sized for the old cadence, and measured how we behave under shorter slots.
Latency products on Solana keep converging on one place. This isn't a coincidence, and it isn't the network, it's the validator.
We mapped the whole landscape — what's new and fast on Solana, and what Alpenglow and SIMD-0525 change about it:
