If there’s one habit that saves me more time than anything else: Before every meeting I check email for cancellations or changes. No point sitting there waiting on someone who already told you they’re not coming. Once I join the call I keep the inbox open until everyone is actually present. Then we start. Tiny discipline. Massive time saver. Everyone should do this.
