I cannot stress enough to any 18-22 year olds following me that it is extremely normal and fairly okay to feel like you’re “not an actual adult” for at least a few more years. you are so young. you have so much time. your brain will not be torturing you the way it is now forever.

ideally you’re giving all parts permission to exist safely regardless of whether you have DID or not. having DID isn’t a magical ticket to being allowed to be complex. if you acknowledge this ultimately you will be better off no matter what you end up figuring out about yourself.
I think one of my biggest pet peeve is when you are yawning and someone nearby says, "Don't do that."
Forst of all, it is an involuntary motion, second of, Don't tell me what to do.
I really like the history of wild movie quirks. Like 3D movies, 4D movies, etc.
For example does anyone remember when some nickelodeon movies tried to do "smell o vision"? They'd give you a scratch card and little icons would appear on screen to let you know which to scratch.
It was really nice last night when a friend (who only contently found out I was a system) correctly identified and named the alter who was fronting. Made me feel happy 😊

sometimes you switch and you don’t act any really that different but you’re also still not masking. not being crazy different doesn’t automatically mean that you’re “suppressing” yourself.
