Lord Jesus, teach me to judge the things of this world according to your wisdom. Purify my heart of every disordered attachment and free me from the desire for wealth, status, or human approval. Help me to be faithful in small matters and generous in the use of my possessions.

ST. ANTHONY OF PADUA — NOT EVERYTHING LOST IS AN OBJECT.
We pray when we lose our keys. But what about when we lose our peace, our direction, or our closeness to God?
St. Anthony of Padua is widely invoked when people search for lost things. He was also a remarkable preacher and teacher of Scripture, deeply committed to proclaiming the Gospel.
His life invites us to consider a different kind of searching.
Perhaps you have lost confidence after repeated disappointments. Perhaps prayer has become difficult. Perhaps you have drifted from someone you love.
Do not assume that everything lost can be recovered in exactly the same form. Some things require patience, some require reconciliation, and others require the courage to begin again.
Bring your concerns to God, but also take the practical steps that love and wisdom demand.
Sometimes the most important thing to recover is not what you have lost, but the direction in which you are walking.
St. Anthony of Padua, pray for us. 🙏

Fr. Ripperger: “Christ said you must forgive 7 times 70 times. You must ALWAYS forgive—if for no other reason than for the love of God. But you also must forgive for YOUR own sake. Everyone in heaven has forgiven everyone who’s hurt them. Everyone in hell has forgiven no one.”

This woman was shocked to see the body of her aborted baby after she used the abortion pill:
"I saw my baby… My baby was basically fully formed. I could see its fingers, its eyes, its feet. It was a fully formed baby. I was not told that that would happen… I wasn’t told that the sac was see through. I wasn’t told anything…"
Unborn babies are human beings.
Abortions kill babies.

No photograph of St. Charbel was ever taken during his lifetime. The holy hermit, who died on Christmas Eve in 1898, lived in deep seclusion at the Hermitage of St. Peter and St. Paul in Annaya, Mount Lebanon. Only his fellow monks ever saw his face.
More than 50 years later, on May 8, 1950, coincidentally the saint’s birthday....
four Maronite priests from Scranton, Pennsylvania, made a pilgrimage to the Monastery of St. Maroun in Annaya.
Father George Webby took a photo of the group standing with a guard outside the monastery.
When the film was developed, an unexpected figure appeared in the middle of the picture: an elderly monk with a white beard. Father Webby immediately showed the photograph to the elderly monks at the monastery. Without hesitation, they identified the man as St. Charbel.
That image became the basis for every portrait and photo of the saint that followed, including those displayed in St. Peter’s Basilica during his beatification and canonization. The mysterious appearance remains one of the most well-known signs associated with the humble Lebanese hermit whose intercession continues to bring healing to many.
Saint Charbel, pray for us!

Baby Zion lived only 10 days after birth, but his life was still worth living.
Robbyn and Josh Blick discovered that their son had Trisomy 18 around 20 weeks into her pregnancy.
They knew they would embrace his life from the very start.
On January 11th, Baby Zion was born, weighing 4lbs 7oz.
Robbyn and Josh were able to take him home.
“I literally didn’t put him down until he was one week old. He was held and loved and cherished for every minute of 10 days.”
As the days passed, Zion’s breathing became increasingly strained. By day 9, he was losing interest in eating.
On Day 10, Zion passed away in his parents’ loving arms.
Many doctors falsely label Trisomy 18 “incompatible with life” as an excuse to refuse treatment and pressure parents to abort their babies.
But Zion LIVED for 10 days - experiencing only love.
Every child deserves a chance at life, no matter their diagnosis.

Sister Cecilia Moshi Hanna was a 72-year-old Chaldean Catholic nun who devoted her life to serving others with the Congregation of the Sacred Heart of Jesus before she was brutally mur*dered by armed intruders in her Baghdad convent in 2002. Remembered as a witness to the Christian faith amid anti-Christian violence, she is recognized by the Catholic Church as a Servant of God, the first step toward possible canonization.
