A lady I haven't spoken to in years suddenly sent me 8 WhatsApp messages without waiting for a single reply. She misses my smile, wants to know if I'm married, and is already planning to come to Lagos so we can hang out. My problem is, why do some women suddenly remember men they abandoned years ago? I genuinely believe when a woman resurfaces like this, something probably didn't work out elsewhere. Some call it reconnecting. I call it checking if an old option is still available.
