I love gaming. I really love two things. #Ultima and Adventure gaming. Last night I was playing foolish mortals in bed next to my wife. I came across a puzzle that I needed to solve so that an objective of mine could be freed up. In short, I needed to make a kazoo. Once I realized what I needed to do and I looked at my inventory I just got so happy. I looked over to my wife and told her about why I love these games. I told her about my 'Uncle' Truitt. An elderly family member for my childhood in the mid-90s. He was the coolest slickest old man. Sweetest thing. One of the things he would always do when I visited my family out in Eastern Carolina was take out his comb and put a piece of wax paper over it and play it like a kazoo. After telling my wife that story I said let's see if we're right... I clicked on the comb in my inventory and dropped it on some tissue paper and voila, there was Uncle Truitt's kazoo ready to help me continue my quest for The treasure of Bellemore Manor. Awesome

The Grey Wanderer has made numerous updates to "TITAN," transforming it into a tool for exploring the data files from a broad range of "Ultima" games.
I was looking at some of the @UltimaForever news on the @UltimaCodex and saw a relic of my past (when I was not a very good programmer). Times have changed and the web is such an enabling cross platform tool these days that I ported the Gargish translator from a java desktop application to a subpage for Ultima VI Online's main website.

Gorgeous hand-painted backgrounds. Incredible sound engineering and soundtrack. How did we ever let this go as a society? If there are any @ultimadragons or players that have YouTube videos from the 2013 PC or even iOS days? I would love to see your game play. It'll be critical in making this the most authentic emulation possible.
Patching, encryption, client / server communication, Avatar bodied.... Still a lifetime of work to do but it feels so good to be back in Britannia. Next up is building a map viewer figuring out where the NPCs are....
