I’m a coral reproduction biologist!! I spend most days caring for corals in our lab or going SCUBA diving to monitor in the field. I also work through the night during spawning season, collect gametes, and then we basically create new coral

not just any coral, but heat-tolerant genotypes biologists use in reef restoration.
It’s home to over 700 fish species and the world’s second largest population of dugongs. Say a prayer.
