If you're trying to understand why the quantum threat has become such a hot topic recently, it's worth understanding three things:
There are three factors that determine how close we are to having a quantum computer capable of breaking cryptography like Bitcoin's:
1. Algorithms: finding ways to break cryptography using fewer qubits.
2. Hardware: building quantum computers with more physical qubits.
3. Error correcting code: making those qubits reliable enough to perform complex computations.
We're seeing progress on all three fronts: algorithms that require fewer qubits, better error-correcting codes, and new ways to build quantum hardware.
When all three improve together, the gap to breaking today's cryptography can close much faster than we might expect.
And that's why people like me are increasingly concerned that Q-day may be closer than we think.

I'll save you 4 minutes.. here are the reasons the video gives for why QC "can never break Bitcoin"
Reason 1: bank, email, cloud, payments, messaging are also vulnerable to ECDLP/RSA breaks. “the whole world is upgrading together”
Reason 2: Bitcoin can upgrade too. Cites BIP360, prior soft forks
Reason 3: attacking Bitcoin doesn’t pay. Because Bitcoin will go to 0 if there's a quantum attack
I'm not even going to address these, will just leave them as an exercise for the reader

What was your relationship to Crypto in 2016?

I’m also a ethereum:0x26c8afbbfe1ebaca03c2bb082e69d0476bffe099 gigawhale. 🤡
I’m him bitch. This is the last of its kind. I don’t work because I’m always fucking EARLY. 🤣🤣🤣
Your humiliation ritual will last as long as you want it to. 💯🥱
When we started in Crypto around 2016 the industry was worth just $17B
Now stablecoins alone are $300B
Then, "cross-border payments" was a hill to be conquered. Now entire countries are using Crypto
Cellframe is a durable post-quantum infrastructure for BIGGER things to come!

A major update is on the way.
The Cellframe team is focused on two priorities right now: strengthening security and backporting the major features from the 6.0 branch to the current 5.7 release and the upcoming interim 5.8 release, which is imminent.
What you need to know:
🔹 Beta builds are already with our testers and the results are excellent: RAM usage has dropped dramatically and data processing speed has improved significantly.
🔹 Security: major improvements across the board, from architecture to data handling.
🔹 The mCELL saga is winding down. All fixes have been live on the network for a while. This week we’re moving from blanket address-level blocks that caught innocent users to targeted, UTXO-level blocks.
🔹 As part of the preparations, the wallet and RPC nodes will be restarted.
Keep an eye on our announcements and be ready to update your software — exact dates and details will follow soon.

“Quantum-safe” is crypto’s favourite label these days…
Three checks before you believe it:
- Can you verify the PQ signature?
- How has the mainnet handled real attacks?
- Can it replace the algorithm without rebuilding everything?
@CellframeSocial breaks it down 👇
How if feels to worry if you should buy more $CELL after the bear market is already over

Quantum vs Silicon will start off slowly. The Google Tensor Processor will dominate low RAM computing (or NPU for non-von Neumann data+process). Quantum will dominate processing in a large number of fields, especially where lookup or RAM dominate.

Silicon will always exist in some form, but quantum will dominate scientific, engineering, hyper intelligence, networking, databases and health (protein, drug, DNA, etc).

Every proposed Bitcoin quantum migration plan has the same flaw. You have to move your own coins.
Not everyone will. Lost keys cannot.
So the leftovers get frozen, forked away, or stolen.
If a fork can take your bitcoin because you missed a deadline, was it ever really yours?
