Ignitions complete on Sting 6 Prescribed Burn located 9 miles SW of Crescent between FS Roads 5830 & 5835-400.
⚠️Residents in Two Rivers subdivision & surrounding area encouraged to keep windows closed to minimize smoke impacts, which are most likely overnight & early morning.

🔥 This afternoon, firefighters on the Ochoco National Forest completed ignition of prescribed burn HEJ Unit 13, totaling 487 acres.
Over the past three days, fire personnel have successfully completed 1,931 acres of prescribed burning on the Ochoco National Forest.
On Thurs. (10/1), the @DesNatlForestplans to conduct up to 42 acres of prescribed burn ignitions 9 miles SW of Crescent & 1 mile S of Two Rivers subdivision between Forest Service Road (FSR) 5830 & FSR 5835-400.

Ignitions are complete on Ochoco National Forest Prescribed Burn HEJ Unit 12, totaling 830 acres.
Work will continue with HEJ Unit 13, totaling 487 acres, tomorrow.

Ignitions are complete on Rabbit 42 and UB CE 16 Prescribed Burn units for 187 acres. ⚠️Residents in the Two Rivers subdivision are encouraged to keep doors and windows closed to minimize smoke impacts. Smoke impacts are most likely overnight and in the early morning hours.

⚠️OHV Trail 55 and North Rivers OHV Staging Area are closed during prescribed burn operations and in the days following until firefighters are able to mitigate potential hazards.
