Serious question. Who does Trump need anymore?

Voted D down the line today. My hope is that the senate and house don’t waste this chance with 2 years of revenge hearings. Lead by example, make some good change, balance the budget & start to build something.

Just remember Investors effectively lent $ASTS money at a conversion price of $79.57 per share back in July. Things I keep telling myself…

šŸ”“ Today , they released the first edition of the book "Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner's and Mohammed bin Zayed's Secret Conspiracy to Reshape the Middle East." These are the most important points from its first chapter, where investigative journalist Matthew Cole reveals details of a secret meeting that brought together Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and Jared Kushner in New York in December 2016, just before Trump's inauguration as president. This chapter outlines how the UAE leadership bypassed the Obama administration to reach directly into the inner circle of the president-elect, leveraging its network of financial and investment ties. Most crucially, the book uncovers what was discussed during the meeting regarding Qatar, Iran, the Muslim Brotherhood, and Israel, along with the priorities that Abu Dhabi wanted the new administration to adopt. It also traces the role Kushner played in opening unconventional channels of communication, and how that meeting, according to the author's account, laid the foundation for a political relationship whose effects extended into subsequent years. šŸ”· The book reveals a meeting that brought together Jared Kushner and Mohammed bin Zayed in the presidential suite at the Four Seasons Hotel in Manhattan, after Trump's election victory and before his inauguration. Bin Zayed arrived with a delegation that included dozens of people, among them armed individuals. The meeting came after he decided to cancel a farewell banquet that had been scheduled with President Barack Obama at the White House. šŸ”· The Emiratis offered no explanation for canceling his meeting with Obama, and the U.S. administration only learned of his New York visit after the State Department received notifications of his diplomatic travel itinerary. The author describes this action as a clear circumvention of diplomatic norms and a signal of the UAE leadership's shift in focus from the outgoing administration to the personal circle of the president-elect. šŸ”· Mohammed bin Zayed enlisted the help of a New York-based hedge fund manager with financial ties to the UAE and a personal friendship with Kushner to arrange the meeting. This serves as an indication of how the UAE uses its investment network to access influential American political figures. šŸ”· Kushner informed bin Zayed that the Middle East would be the top priority of the Trump administration's foreign policy, and that he would personally take charge of the diplomatic file on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Trump had selected him to handle these matters despite his lack of traditional diplomatic experience. Meanwhile, bin Zayed laid out his grievances to Kushner about U.S. policy over the previous eight years, viewing Obama's support for the Arab Spring uprisings—particularly the protests that toppled Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak—as a betrayal of a key U.S. strategic ally. He explained that Washington's abandonment of Mubarak had heightened Gulf regimes' concerns about the reliability of American guarantees. šŸ”· He further argued that the Obama administration's decision to end the U.S. war in Iraq had created a strategic vacuum that enabled the Islamic State to expand and control vast territories in Iraq and Syria. He presented this outcome as evidence of the weakness in U.S. policy in the region. He also told Kushner that the UAE faces two enemies threatening its existence: the Muslim Brotherhood and Iran. He viewed the first threat as political Islam, while the second stemmed from Iran's regional influence and its network of armed groups linked to Tehran. šŸ”· He accused Qatar of providing significant funding to the Muslim Brotherhood and using Al Jazeera to stoke regional tensions and support extremist Islamist currents, according to his narrative. He informed Kushner that he hoped the new U.S. administration would address the Qatari problem. This passage reveals that the Qatar file was already on the table in UAE communications with the Trump in Dec. 2016.

$asts is every governments answer going forward.
Elon Musk pointed at the President. The President pointed back. Then the entire Trump administration stepped aside and left him standing alone with the switch in his hand. That’s how the most powerful private man in space spent the last two weeks: abandoned by his own allies, scolded by his own customers, and arguing with fan accounts at 2 a.m. Let’s walk through it. October 10: Trump warns Ukraine to stop hitting Russian oil refineries. Days later: Musk posts ā€œZelensky has gone too far.ā€ October 14: Ukraine’s satellite connections start failing mid-mission. No warning. Drone strikes disrupted. Interceptors that protect Ukrainian cities struggling to stay connected. Pure coincidence, surely. Just a routine terms-of-service update that happened to land days after the President got angry at Ukraine. Then the blame game. Musk: Starshield limits are decided ā€œby the US military and ultimately POTUS.ā€ Trump: ā€œIt wasn’t us.ā€ And he didn’t think it was Musk either. Rubio: didn’t know beforehand, it’s a commercial matter. Hegseth: the Pentagon didn’t direct it. The Wall Street Journal: Musk ordered it. Musk, a week later: SpaceX ā€œclosed the loophole.ā€ He tried to hide behind the President, and the President’s own cabinet stepped out of the way. The man who spent this year as Washington’s most powerful ally couldn’t find a single official willing to take the hit for him. Then came the excuses. Terms of service. Offensive drones. Kessler syndrome. Khrushchev. 1783. A 2022 peace plan that would have left Kherson under occupation. Slurs for a journalist. ā€œBurn in hellā€ for everyone else. Four explanations, zero documents, and one Doge account cheering him on. Then a customer spoke up. Poland’s foreign minister, a government that pays for Starlink in Ukraine, wrote to him publicly: ā€œHey, big man, are you playing politics with your products again? As your European customers, we are watching you.ā€ Read that again. A NATO frontline state, talking to the richest man alive like a teenager caught with the car keys. That’s not a complaint ticket. That’s a sovereign customer saying: we no longer trust you. And that’s the real humiliation. Governments don’t buy bandwidth. They buy certainty. They buy the guarantee that their soldiers’ communications won’t go dark because one man in Texas had feelings about a refinery strike. Elon just proved, in public, with timestamps, that this guarantee doesn’t exist. Every defense ministry on Earth now has a case file titled ā€œWhat happens when Musk decides.ā€ Every satellite procurement meeting from Warsaw to Paris now includes a new line item: Musk risk. Europe’s telecom giants were already exploring alternatives before this. Elon just wrote their sales pitch for free. Think about how badly you have to play a hand this strong. He built the most important communications network of the war. Ukraine praised him. Ukraine asked him to cut off Russian drones, and he did. He was indispensable. He took the one thing his company sells governments, which is trust, and set it on fire for a two-week ego trip. Now his own allies won’t defend him. His customers are warning him. Senators from both parties want answers. And his best defense is a fan edit with a podcast clip. Elon wanted the world to understand how much power he holds. He succeeded. Now the world is going to spend the next decade, and billions of dollars, making sure he never holds it again. That’s not a tantrum. That’s a legacy.

Outside of signed agreements, this is the biggest news I’ve seen in 3 years. We knew everything else. This blows the doors open. Now we gotta get those birds in the air. $ASTS
A MAJOR TURNING POINT AWAITS $ASTS NEXT WEEK: Following Friday’s market close, an SEC filing has fundamentally altered the landscape for $ASTS. Previously, the market viewed AST SpaceMobile merely as a backup solution for mobile communication "dead zones." However, a regulatory breakthrough regarding compliance with E-band service rules has opened an entirely new chapter. By successfully unlocking E-band spectrum, $ASTS is now positioned to challenge Starlink’s core monopoly in the residential broadband sector. No longer limited to sending emergency text messages, the total addressable market (TAM) for $ASTS is expanding rapidly and significantly, moving directly into the realms of fixed wireless access and high-throughput data transmission. Let’s look at the technical core: the filing explicitly states that these E-band frequencies can communicate directly with ultra-compact, consumer-grade antennas. In other words, $ASTS can provide high-speed home internet access and enterprise-grade backhaul services without the need for massive, expensive satellite dishes. Previously, Starlink (under SpaceX) held a near-total monopoly on rural broadband and maritime internet through its proprietary ground terminals. Now, by integrating E-band capabilities into its large-scale phased-array antenna systems, $ASTS can transmit massive amounts of data to compact, affordable consumer hardware. As for its financial position, a restructuring of convertible debt in the second quarter has secured $2.2 billion in cash reserves for ASTS. This means the company can fund the development of its E-band technology without diluting existing shareholders. More importantly, while Starlink’s business model aims to build an independent consumer network that bypasses existing telecom operators—effectively positioning Elon Musk as a competitor to major telcos—ASTS has adopted a completely different strategy. They can offer this ultra-high-speed E-band capability directly to carriers like AT&T, Verizon, and Vodafone, leveraging these giants' massive, established customer bases to drive commercial monetization. With $ASTS currently trading near $40, I believe this represents a highly attractive entry point. I plan to accumulate shares in stages. Please like, follow, and share—help more people see this!
